Positional Profile: C/RHP One of the best catchers in the 2025 class. Very well rounded game and he's far from physical maturity.
Body: 5-11, 180-pounds. Broad shoulders, lean muscled frame.
Hits: RHH. Narrow setup, smooth rhythm throughout, crouches down into an athletic positon as he loads hands, short stride, great timing and balance, explosive lower half. Consistent barrel path is short to the zone, long through, lags in the zone, advanced feel for the barrel, can spray the ball with driving force to all fields.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 80.3 MPH. 357' max distance. Backspin barrels to both gaps with serious carry.
Arm: LH. C-78 mph. Traditional catcher's arm action, short, quick, over-the-top, throws carry and are accuate.
Defense: 1.92-2.01 pop times. Advanced throughout, Soft glove, feel for receiving, plays through the ball with quick, clean footwork, quick exchanges, gets to release quickly.

GA Preseason All State

As I said in his tweet, this is going to be a very high level defender in the class, and there aren’t many better total packages in the southeast right now. Being new to the scene in 2022, he’s now marinating as a prospect and has picked up D1 interest from around a dozen good programs at this point. I would not be surprised to see him get popped with multiple offers in 2023. His footwork, exchange, were the best at the event, earning him a 1.92 pop time (1.92-2.00 range). The arm action is picture perfect for a backstop, with a short & quick arm spiral from an OH slot that creates tons of carry and registered 78 mph. Stonecipher showcased his high level swing mechanics to the crowd, launching a 357 foot bomb (92 EV) onto the tents in RF. We love to monitor his progress and are enjoying his dramatic improvements in each event.

Body: 6-foot-10, 165-pounds. Medium size, proportional build, young frame that has plenty of physical development ahead.
Delivery: Drop and drive delivery, good balance, rides lower half well, works on-line, lands square, finishes square to home.
Arm Action: RH. Short, compact arm action, quick arm speed, over-the-top slot, more in the tank, some looseness.
FB: T80.4, 77.6-80.0 mph. Heavy sinking action, good feel, gets downhill.  T2024, 1919 average rpm.
CB: 70.3-71.9 mph. 11/5 shape, gradual, feel. T1917, 1904 average rpm.
CH: 73.4-73.8 mph. Fade and sink, feel. T1475,  1454 average rpm

Body: 5-foot-10, 165-pounds. Medium size, proportional build, young frame that has plenty of physical development to ahead.
Hit: LHH. Balanced setup with slight bend in his knees, hands start back, barrel cocks on load, rocks weight onto back-side smoothly, short stride, great balance. Fluid swing, athletic hands that are able to consistently get the barrel on plane to drive the ball, mostly line drive contact, advanced bat to ball skills, good timing, generates power with lower half, whippy bat.
Power: 87.3 max exit velocity, averaged 78.5 mph. 288’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 74 mph. Short, loose arm action, to an over-the-top slot, kept throws on target and to the first base side of the bag.
Defense: 2.00-2.07 pop times. Fields position athletically, good flexibility in lower half as he sinks down, soft glove and a quick exchange allow him to get to release quickly, clean footwork, carries momentum on-line.
Run: 7.54 runner in the 60.
