4/26/13 - John A. Logan JC recruit. One of the top senior shortstops of the season. Athletic left-handed hitter with plenty of arm (84 mph across infield). Moves fluidly and takes advanced angles to balls. Shows high aptitude for position. Hitting .434 with 4 doubles and 12 RBI this season.

10/14/12 - Meyer is an athletic infielder that runs well as displayed by his 6.97 60 time. His infield actions are smooth and his hands are soft. He showed a strong arm from the left side of the infield showing excellent carry and life at 84 mph across the diamond. Meyer’s footwork is quick, getting him into great fielding positions as well as showing above average range. At the plate Meyer swings a left handed stick with a balanced set up. He showed excellent balance throughout contact using a smooth load and produced exit speeds of 83 mph. Meyer proved to possess legitimate high-level shortstop attributes.

6/20/12  Meyer is a 6-foot, 160-pound middle infielder who impressed with his smooth fielding, soft hands, and all-around defensive actions. Meyer displayed quick footwork and ability to play through the baseball, showing excellent lateral range and the ability to play the baseball on the run.  He displayed accurate throws across the diamond and was clocked at 79 mph. The left handed hitter showed some bat speed with a short, compact swing which produced gap to gap power with some back spin carry. Meyer also impressed with s 6.97 60.
