Durable build at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds. Average athlete with simple delivery and good lines to the plate. Loose and clean arm action to three-quarter release point. Early glove tuck. Good feel to pitch. Changed speeds and spots well throughout his appearance. Swing/miss fastball with late hop, sat 89-91 (T92) and low-2,000 spin rates. Slider sat 79-80 with spin rate up to 2,425 rpm. Showed good arm speed on 80-81 mph changeup. Had sink and low-spin in the 1,600s.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-foot-3, 215-pounds. Large sturdy frame, typical durable pitchers build.
Delivery: Easy, lower effort delivery, tall and fall type, simple and stays directional.
Arm Action: RH. Loose quick arm action, works out of 3/4 slot.
FB: T91, 90-91 mph. Plays mostly straight with feel for the strike zone.
CB: 73-76 mph. 11/5 shape, slurve type breaking ball.
CH: 81-84 mph. Near fastball arm speed, played heavy at times with sinking action.
Verbally committed to Indiana State.
2019 Future Games: 6-foot-3, 200-pound, right-handed pitcher. Features one of the strongest arms in the state and had one of the top fastball's of the entire Future Games, 92 mph. Highly-athletic, strong, physically-imposing, wide-shouldered frame. Delivery works with pace and rhythm, stays on-line, lands square. Arm is clean, loose and quick from a ¾ slot. Struck out two and allowed one hit in his first inning of work. Fastball jumps out of the hands, finish through the zone, average control, occasional late arm-side-run, sat 88-90 mph, touched 92. Curveball was go-to secondary pitch, 11/5 shape, depth and tight spin when maintains arm speed, average feel, 72-73 mph. Rarely went to his changeup but has shown swing-and-miss changeup in the past with late fade. High-follow, strong-armed, 2021 right-handed arm.
Positional Profile: RHP. One of the top uncommitted 2021 arms in the state.
Body: 6-foot-3, 200-pounds. Strong, wide-shouldered, athletic build.
Delivery: Starts from the third base side of the rubber, rocker step wind up, slightly uptempo pace throughout and works with rhythm. Delivery works in line, lands square, athletic finish, repeatable with smooth rhythm and minimal effort.
Arm Action: RH. Loose and clean arm action, quick out front; high ¾ slot.
FB: T89, 88-89 mph. Plays straight, late jump through the hitting zone, thrown for strikes.
CB: 71-72 mph. 11/5 shape, thrown near fastball arm speed, depth and tight spin at times.
CH: 77-79 mph. Maintains arm speed, sink and fade action, swing-and-miss offering.
7.23.18 - 6-foot-3, 195-pound right-handed pitcher, large build, strong lower half, durable frame. Delivery is repeatable with little effort, short rocker step, works online, lands square, upright finish to first base side. Plus arm strength for age, arm action is clean and live, works out of ¾ slot. Fastball flashed plus finish for age, heavy action that runs to arm side, showed ability to control the zone, ranged 84-86 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with feel, hard biting action, showed ability to get swing and miss as well as chases, 70-73 mph. Slider has similar qualities on shorter 10/4 plane, 76 mph. High follow 2021 prospect.
2017 Junior Future Games - Right-handed pitcher with long, projectable frame. Long, loose arm action from high ¾ angle. Fastball, works with late arm side run with occasional cut, sat 80-82 mph touching 85 multiple times. Curveball, had 11/5 shape with bite and depth, flashed hard sweeping action, 71-74 mph.
