Attacked hitters early in counts and threw strikes throughout his outing. Fastball sat 84-87 mph and played mostly straight, showed control for both sides of the plate. Also mixed in a curveball with 11/5 shape at 68-72 mph, showing feel to land it for strikes and garner swing-and-miss. An uncommitted name for programs to follow.

Uncommitted. Hit in the nine-hole and played left field. Known for his ability on the mound, Weber stood out on this day with his right-handed swing. Took the most consistent at-bats and swings of anyone in the lineup. Was all over the barrel, minimal swing-and-miss and on time throughout. Routine hard contact to the pull-side gap with a 4.76 on a turn. Finished 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Present two-way ability with reports of him making recent velocity jumps on the mound.

Simple and repeatable delivery on the mound with minimal effort, small leg lift with tuck, tall and fall delivery down the mound, foot lands slightly closed. Compact arm action out of a ¾ slot. Fastball sat in the low-80s in this look, also mixed in a curveball at 72-75 mph with short, 11/5 shape, and a change-up with heavy fade at 72-73 mph.

He has a clean delivery that is simple and repeatable, working with a medium leg-lift, getting his momentum moving forward from balance point while working in-line. His arm has a medium reach out of the glove, playing from a high ¾ window. The fastball came out of his hand clean with some carry and finish through the zone, setting up a sharp slider at 72 mph and changeup around the mid-70s.
