Lean, athletic 6-foot, 160-pound frame. Long and loose arm action, high ¾ slot. Simple tall/fall type delivery, strong front side, athletic finish, falls towards first base side. Hartman came out of the gates hot, sitting at an easy 84-86 mph with his fastball and pumping each corner of the zone. He kicked back a bit as his outing went on, more comfortably in the 80-83 mph range, but continued to throw strikes and even mixed in a breaking ball in the low-70s range that he can spin for strikes. Started in Illinois Dynasty’s first game of the weekend on Thursday afternoon and shoved, tossing seven scoreless innings while striking out nine. Hartman’s clean arm and athleticism on the hill make him an intriguing uncommitted arm to follow.

Defensively, fluid footwork, long arm action, high ¾ slot and throws topped at 77 mph across the diamond. 7.43 runner in the 60, laser-timed.
