Delivery: Staggered start from the left edge of the rubber; front steps directly into coiled balance point, high knee tuck. Drops and drives with level shoulders, smooth momentum down the mound, works on line, square landing, toe closed.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm circle, short draw, pronates; high 3/4 slot.
FB: T84, 80-83 mph. Four-seam type, straight; above-average carry through the zone.
CB: 63-65 mph. Slurve-type offering; shorter vertical action with large lateral break. Averaged -17.2 inches of horizontal break. Some feel to locate.
CH: 71-73 mph. Maintains arm speed well, lowers slot; generates natural cut action.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, smooth load, short stride. Aggressive swing, quick strong hands, long level swing, gets extension through contact, line drive gap-to-gap approach, fluid rhythm.

He kicked back a bit as his outing went on, more comfortably in the 80-83 mph range, but continued to throw strikes and even mixed in a breaking ball in the low-70s range that he can spin for strikes. Started in Illinois Dynasty’s first game of the weekend on Thursday afternoon and shoved, tossing seven scoreless innings while striking out nine. Hartman’s clean arm and athleticism on the hill make him an intriguing uncommitted arm to follow.

5-foot-10, 150-pound, athletically built, right-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, tall, open setup, leg-kick timing trigger and good balance through contact. Flashed bat speed, long, uphill path, gap-to-gap approach. 79 mph exit velocity from a tee. On the infield, projects as a possible corner infielder. Long arm action, high ¾ slot, accurate throws clocked at 73 mph. 7.78 runner in the 60.
