Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 84 in Illinois. 6-foot-1, 165-pound, left/left, two-way prospect. Started on the mound for Plainfield North and led off at the plate. Despite uneven results on the mound, Bak is a follow left-handed arm in the class. Compact arm action works from an over-the-top slot. Directional delivery, loads into back leg and lands square down the mound. 6-foot, 160-pound, high-waisted, athletically-built, two-way prospect; Could have been in the running for MVP of the weekend thanks to his performance at the plate and on the mound. At the plate, was locked in throughout the weekend. Pre-pitch rhythm, stays within himself and lets his hands work. Whippy, loose hands, covers the entire plate, uses the whole field and was on the barrel in seemingly every at-bat. Line-drive approach and feel for the barrel. Also threw a gem early in the weekend where he struck out 11 in 5.1 innings pitched. Follow 2022 two-way prospect trending up.
