1/12/14 - 5-foot-9, 165-pound two-way player. Defensively he showed natural, athletic outfield actions, playing through the ball well with quick, clean exchanges. Arm works short, loose and quick from a high ¾ slot at 85 mph with strong carry and accuracy. At the plate he hits from a tall, slightly open stance and short stride. Swing is aggressive and balanced through contact with above average bat speed. Exit velocity was 83 mph off a tee. On the mound throws from high ¾ slot with a clean, quick arm action. The delivery has rhythm with clean lines, athletic finish, and high effort. Fastball was straight, 81-82 mph, flashing 84 mph. Throws a curveball with 11/5 tilt, gradual break, 67-70 mph. Throws the changeup with fastball arm speed, for strikes, 76-78 mph.
8/9/13 - 5-foot-9, 160-pound two-way player. Saak had one of the better performances of Unsigned Senior Games. Defensively showed natural outfield actions, played through the baseball, quick clean exchange. Crow hopped through the baseball, arm played at 88 mph from the outfield. Offensively hits from a balanced setup, slightly open stance, slight toe tap leg lift stride. Line drive hitter with consistent solid contact, above average bat speed, 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Showed some extension, pull side approach, occasional gap to gap approach. 7.37 runner. On the mound uses a short high ¾ arm action with some effort. Fastball topped at 84 mph, sat 80-83 mph, mostly straight with command. Slider had sweeping action, 72-75 mph with feel. Curveball worked on 11/5 plane, 65-68 mph, above average control. Worked a 1-2-3 scoreless inning with two strikeouts.
6.19.13 - Athletically built outfielder and right-handed pitcher, 5-foot-9, 165-pounds, showed a well-rounded game with arm strength.  Defensively displayed well above average actions and an advanced arm throwing 87 mph from the outfield, arm played from an over the top arm slot with short loose action, showed plenty of carry to his target.  Fielded the position athletically with solid footwork and clean exchange, worked through the baseball well.  Offensively hits from a slightly open stance, short leg kick trigger. Above average bat speed at the plate, 85 mph exit velocity. Line drive gap to gap type hitter, above average hand eye, consistent hard contact, barrel awareness.  Ran a 7.4 60.  On the mound, delivery has direction towards the plate, releasing with short, quick arm action from a high ¾ slot.  Fastball sat 82-84 mph with run, topping at 85 mph. Showed a cutter that featured more slider action at 77-78 mph, late bite, above average action, swing and miss capabilities. Curveball had 11/5 action sitting 67-68 mph. Also showed feel for his changeup between 73-75 mph with command and occasional sink. 

2/17/3 - Average build, 5-foot-9, 160-pound two way player. Defensively showed arm strength from the outfield, over the top arm slot, 88 mph, efficient crow hop, quick release, arm showed carry. Athletic footwork defensively. At the plate, hits from an open stance, uses smooth load, short stride. Barrel head shows some speed through the zone, tendency to hit off of back side, good balance throughout. On the mound operates from a high ¾ arm slot, arm shows quickness with some effort. Fastball flashes run, 80-82 mph, touching 83 mph. Curveball display advanced action, flashes sharp break, 12/6 axis, thrown with advanced control, 66-69 mph, potential to be a plus out pitch. Changeup sits at 73-75 mph, lacked control, consistently down. Demonstrated good velocity splits between pitches.
