LHP Callum Morrison (Lake Forest) gave a strong look over his two innings of work, scattering three hits while not allowing a run, also striking out two against one walk. The southpaw delivers his arsenal from a loose ¾ slot, getting natural sink on both his fastball (80-84 mph) and his changeup (74-76 mph). To round out his repertoire he went to a downer curveball with 1/7 shape, flashing sharp action at 72-73 mph.

Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 27 in the state. Listed at 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, lean frame with room to add on strength. Started on the mound and threw it well over his 4.2 innings of work, allowing just one earned run on four hits with four walks and six strikeouts. Loose, easy mover, delivers his arsenal from a lower ¾ slot. Fastball worked in the 80-84 mph range with natural sink, playing mostly in the bottom part of the zone. Go-to secondary looked to be a changeup that comes from a similar fastball window, playing at 74-76 mph with fade and sink, thrown to both right and left-handed hitters. His final offering was a sharp 1/7 breaking ball at 70-71 mph, thrown with fastball arm-speed. Upside arm to know, high-follow.
