5/21/26
Olivet Nazarene commit, ranked No. 101 in the state's senior class. Stands in a 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame. Started in right field and batted seventh. Finished the day 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, with the double a barrel to the right-center gap that drove in a run. A left-handed hitter, Harris works with a simple swing and hands that play direct to the ball. Also a strong defender, made a tough play on the run at the warning track. An upside name to continue to follow in the class.
3/19/26

Olivet-Nazarene commit. Ranked No. 214 in the Illinois’ 2026 class. 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame, long and loose-levered with plenty more physical development to come. Features one of the highest ceilings among position players in Central Illinois. Hit in the six-hole and played right field. Simple, easy left-handed swing with above-average athleticism to match — previously clocked at 6.88 in the 60 and ran a 4.36 down the line on a groundout to short. Went the opposite way for a two-run home run, showing easy leverage and present bat strength. Long-strided in the outfield and made a number of above-average plays over the course of the game. Best days are still ahead of him.

6/19/25

Uncommitted. Projectable 6-foot-4, 185-pound athletic frame. Started in right field and hit out of the seven-hole. Harris gave an upside look on Friday. His highlight of the game was a throw to second that was on a rope to get a runner out that was trying to extend a single into a double. Harris picked the ball up from the corner of the wall down the first-base line.

7/17/24

Possessing a lengthy 6-foot-4, 175-pound frame with room for added strength, Carter Harris put on a show for the Rhinos. The left handed batter went 2-for-3 with an impressive four RBIs. One hit was a line drive to left field and his other hit was a line drive to center field. Mechanically, Harris stands with his bat on his shoulder with loose hands and a high leg kick. He gets the bat on the ball quickly with a smooth level swing.
