4/18/23

Uncommitted. 6-foot, 170-pound, athletically-built, left-handed hitting catcher. Sophomore caught and hit in the eight-hole. Stood out throughout the course of the game with his ability behind the plate. Polished receiver for his age, highly-flexible, low quality target, soft quiet hands and sticks pitches in and around the zone. Clean arm action and played accurately out of the crouch. Offensively, quiet, simple approach with the ability to keep his hands inside the baseball, control the barrel and use the whole field. Handled a tough left/left matchup in his first at-bat and lined a single over the shortstops head for a clean single. Finished the game 1-for-3. Left-handed hitting catcher who has the tools to stick behind the plate moving forward.
