Ranked No. 21 in Illinois’ freshman class. Stands in an athletic frame with more to come at 6-foot, 175-pounds. Didn’t get the results he wanted, but tallied six strikeouts in five innings of work while only walking one. Reinhart is an athletic mover on the mound with a clean, compact arm path that’s quick out front. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with arm-side run at times, and he mixed in a curveball at 71-72 mph with 1/7 shape. Slowed down the curveball at times to throw it for strikes, but played most effectively when he threw it hard, creating sharp, late action. A name-to-know in the freshman class.
Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 6-0, 165-pounds. Tall and lanky with long limbs who runs well, with lots of room to fill out.
Delivery: Narrow simple setup little movement hands just above belt. Small turn and leg kick prior to dropping and pushing off. Drives off back leg extremely well that is aggressive into followthrough.
Arm Action: LH. Seperates from glove with connection to rest of body. Raw and Whippy arm that will continue to develop.
FB: T83, 80-83 mph. Jumps out of hand well with ASR, some ride at top of the zone, will be trouble for all hitters. T1862, 1715 average rpm.
CB: 63-68 mph. CB has good movement that is more effective down in the zone. Has looping action when left up. T1998, 1966 average rpm.
CH: 70-74 mph. Confident with CH at the moment, that tunnels with fastball well. T1510, 1379 average rpm.
ATH: 3.89 in the30 yard split.

Barrel stays through hitting zone well. With a middle of the field approach, that can catch balls out front or let them get deep. 62 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration.

Arm: LH. OF-82 mph. Whippy action that comes quick out the hand that will continue to increase arm strength.
