FR. OF Deegan Aeilts (Armstrong) had a strong all-around day for the Cavaliers. Standing at 5-foot-11, 165-pounds with strength and more room to add to the frame. The left-handed hitter started his day by running a 6.96 60-yard dash before a quality round of BP where he showed barrel control throughout the round consistently driving the baseball on a line and in the air while reaching a peak exit velocity of 90.6 mph. Defensively in the outfield, Aeilts plays with steady and confident actions with arm strength up to 84 mph.

Aeilts began the event, running the second fastest 60 time (6.93), a significant improvement since the last event he attended. He followed with a strong round of batting practice, showing a short and simple swing from the left-side of the plate. Defensively, Aeilts attacked the ball in-stride and showed a long, loose arm with quickness out front, recording the highest outfield velocity at the event (85 mph).

Catcher Deegan Aeilts (Normal University, 2025) was one of the more intriguing left-handed hitters in attendance. Aeilts has a 5-foot-10, 140-pound, lean, loose-bodied frame and stays short and direct to the ball at the plate. Aeilts creates whip and bat speed, stays inside the baseball and lined hard contact to all fields. Aeilts recorded an 82% on-plane efficiency, one of the best of the event. Also, ran a 7.33 laser-timed 60. Young, upside left-handed bat to follow moving forward.
