5.9.15 - Uncommitted 2016 prospect. Strong 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame. Only came in to throw to one batter, but it was highly interesting. Fastball sat 83-84 with late life. (Note: I was told he has been in upper-80s but had thrown quite a bit over the course of the week. Don’t know if that’s legit, but from the eye-test, it certainly looks possible). Raw, high-effort delivery, high ¾ slot. Threw one curveball at 72. Struck out only batter he faced on 84-mph fastball to get out of first-and-second situation. Also went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks at the plate.
