Power: 99.42 max exit velocity, averaged 88 mph. 362’ max distance.
Arm: R. INF - 87 mph. Short, loose arm action, multiple arm angle.

Run: 6.73 runner in the 60.

9/29/21

Mastros oozes physicality in the batter’s box, largely in part to a powerful 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame. He made plenty of loud contact throughout the PBR at The Rock Fall Championships and worked comfortably to all fields, hammering one to his pull-side on Saturday for a single and following it up with a triple into the right-center gap in the next at-bat. There’s plenty to like here from an offensive standpoint and he certainly profiles as a middle-of-the-order type thumper at the next level.

7/21/20

Positional Profile: 3B/SS
Body: 6-2, 195-pounds. Athletic, well-proportioned frame; wide shoulders.
Hit: RHH. Open setup, smooth load, short stride, controlled balance throughout.  Strong hands with bat speed; 25.2 mph average hand speed according to Blast Motion. Long bat path with extension through contact, gap-to-gap approach, easy pull-side power. Consistently on the barrel, ball jumps when he finds it; averaged 93.32 mph on balls in play during BP, per TrackMan.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. Profiles as a middle-of-the-order thumper; 97.6 mph max exit speed with a max fly ball distance of 350 feet.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Athletic feet with some pre-pitch bounce, active defender, works on an angle to the baseball. Soft hands play out front, clean exchange, plays through the baseball.
Run: 6.72 runner in the 60. Moves well for his size, above-average foot speed for age.

2/16/20

Positional Profile: 3B
Body: 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. Wiry, athletic build. Projects.
Hit: RHH. Athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick trigger, twitchy lower half.  Quick bat, uphill path, easy loft, gap-to-gap power, consistent hard contact.
Power: 94 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 83 mph. Short, lively arm action, over-the-top slot. Throws played true with carry.
