Uncommitted, the southpaw had a quality appearance out of the bullpen against St. Charles East. Peterson threw 5.1 innings, allowing just three hits, no runs, four walks, and struck out five.

While not the big velo that we may have seen out of others at this event, Peterson has a clean and easy 79-82 mph fastball that flashes cut properties with above average spin on both his fastball and slider at 2400 rpm.
