As the season progressed, the word began to get out that this small-school prospect who was putting up big numbers. Reports of 90-92 mph fastballs and double-digit strikeouts on a regular occurrence. At the PBR Top Prospect Showcase, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound right-hander showed it wasn’t just inflated hype. On Thursday, Hart popped several 90s and showcased a lightning quick arm. Although his secondary stuff still needs refinement, he flashed a few 73-75 mph curveballs that showed promise.
