8-15-2018:�Along with�John Rave�and Chatham teammate�TJ Sikkema, Koch is another member of the 2014 Phillies Midwest scout team who was named a Cape Cod League All-Star this summer. Koch featured a 91-95 mph fastball (2200-2300 spin rate) and 80-82 mph slider (2500 spin rate) during his three batter relief appearance in the All-Star game. After walking 50 batters in 86 innings this spring and going undrafted as a college junior, Koch was a free agent this summer. He signed with the Reds on July 30, shortly after his all-star game appearance. (Seifert)
