Verbally committed to Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 74 in the Illinois’ 2024 class. 6-foot-1, 170-pound, athletic, broad-shouldered build with room for continued physical development. Started at shortstop and led off. Finished 0-for-4 offensively. Ready to hit when he steps in the box, aggressive early, loose hands, creates whip through the zone. Was pull-side oriented in this look but the swing projects due to the ease in which he creates bat speed and his knack for the barrel; minimal swing and miss throughout the day and recognized spin. Defensively, has the tools to stick on the left-side of the diamond. Plays with a bounce/hop in his step, has energy and pace to his defensive game. Soft hands, clean athletic actions and comfortable playing on the move. Internal clock, feel for the position and arm played accurately across. Upside uncommitted 2024 that can stick on the dirt moving forward. 

Jackson Spring (St. Charles North), Cael Karczewski (Joliet West), Blake Crancer (Normal West), Will Potter (Downers Grove South), Bobby Kutt (Providence Catholic) and Jaden Obaldo (Crystal Lake Central) were a strong crop of middle infielders that should be able to stick up the middle moving forward and they all swing intriguing right-handed bats.

Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, some rhythm with hand separation and foot strike, medium stride.  Loose, fluid swing, stays through the zone, creates some whip in the barrel, uses the whole field.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 87.1 mph. 295’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. Loose arm, 3/4 release, plays on the move.
Defense: Quick first step, two-hand gather out front, soft hands, plays through the ball with rhythm, fluid footwork.
Run: 7.02 runner in the 60.

6-foot, 160-pound, wiry, athletic build with upside. Right-handed hitter started at shortstop and hit in the six-hole as a sophomore. Long-levered swing, stood in the box with confidence, hits with rhythm and ran a 4.50 on an infield groundout. Sound infield actions, clean footwork and sure-handed. Upside 2024 shortstop to follow moving forward.

Defense: Soft hands with a quick/clean transfer, smooth footwork with athletic infield actions.
