Advanced defensive abilities in all facets, feet work quick and clean, arm is quick and loose with carry to all bases. Blocked tough pitches in the dirt regularly in-game, controlled the pace and made mound visits when needed. Caught the only two base runners he could (lefty high leg kicks) on four attempts, 2.01 in-game pops. Showed wherewithal on a double steal, pivoting from third to second delivering a seed that was slightly high off the base, athletic baseball move.
4.20.18 - Uncommitted junior catcher, impressive build, chiseled 6-foot-1, 200-pounds, well-above average athlete. Arm is plus out of the crouch, gets easy carry, arm plays strong from multiple release points, carries and accurate, will show it off as a weapon to get cheap outs backdooring baserunners. 1.97-2.04 in game pops. Average receiver, actions and feel yet to be polished, however highly athletic, especially blocking the baseball.
