8/8/12  Jake is a physical young kid that has considerable upside. As a 6-foot, 175-pound two-way player who demonstrated some legitimate power potential at the plate. With a strong foundation and approach, Jake has the building blocks to become a premier prospect in the state as he grows into his body. On the mound Jake featured a 74-76 mph fastball from an over the top slot. He works downhill well, which will pay dividends as he matures. His curveball also showed well with some bite and control.
