Uncommitted 2023 RHP Jared Rodriguez (Harvest Christian) flashed swing-and-miss stuff in his three-inning stint, striking out three and allowing two hits. Rodriguez topped at 84 mph and throws everything with intent, including a low-70s breaking ball with an average of 2,079 rpm.

Delivery: Quick, up-tempo delivery, medium leg-lift into balance point, drop/drive lower-half that works in-line to the plate. In-game stats: 3 IP, 3K, 3BB, 2H, 1R, 0ER
Arm Action: RH. Long arm path out of the glove into a quick 3/4 release.
FB: T84, 81-83 mph. Plays with sinking action to the arm-side. T2100, 1837 average rpm.
CB: 71-72 mph. Downer 11/5 shape, flashed sharp action. T2204, 2079 average rpm.
CH: 78-78 mph. Similar action to the fastball, maintains arm-speed. T1783, 1783 average rpm.
At our PBR at The Rock 16u Championships, Rodriguez threw a complete game for Athlete HQ. His fastball sat consistently 80-82 mph topping 83 mph throughout the entire game. Threw a 10-4 breaking ball that was 69-71 mph with the ability to throw it for a strike during any count. Rodriguez finished the game only allowing two earned runs, one walk, and nine strikeouts.

Body: 5-foot-8, 170-pounds. Strong legs.
Delivery: Segmented tall-and-fall delivery with some effort, shoulders close off, lands squared with an athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T84, 83-84 mph. Arm-side run movement. T2020, 1919 average rpm.
CB: 70-71 mph. 10/4 with sharp action, around the zone command. T2133, 2057 average rpm.
CH: 73-74 mph. Arm-side run, down in the zone command.
Hit: RHH. Tall, balanced stance, smooth load, short stride. Flashed bat speed, long, uphill swing plane, lifts the baseball to the pull side.
Power: 89.33 max exit velocity, averaged 84.91 mph. 337’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Long, loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Quick feet to the baseball, fields out in front with soft hands, quick, clean exchange.

Body: 5-7, 165-pounds. Sturdy lower half, athletic.
Delivery: Squared start, front step rock, rhythm to clear hip turn, low-knee balance point. Level shoulders, loose levers, works on line, lands square to target, toe pointed directly to home.
Arm Action: RH. Loose, athletic arm from a high 3/4 slot; easy, fluid.
FB: T81, 79-80 mph. Straight, low-spin; inconsistent release, feel to locate. Spin rate averaged 1,621 rpm.
CB: 66-66 mph. 11/5 shape, raw feel to spin/locate; flashed depth and some sharpness.
5-foot-7, 165-pound right-handed pitcher. Athletic frame with a strong lower half. Came in relief for Fastball Elite against Wisconsin Phenom on Sunday afternoon. Short arm action, high ¾ slot. Deceptive drop and drive delivery, strong front side, stays direct to target, recoil finish at times. Worked in rhythm throughout his outing and consistently repeats his delivery. Fastball sat 79-80 mph, T81 mph with spin rates in the 1500-1600 range, consistently working around the zone. Breaking ball flashed above-average actions, 11/5 shape, late break, sat 64-66 mph.
