On Wednesday, July 14, the PBR Illinois staff hosted the Class of 2023 Showcase at Lee Pfund Stadium in Carol Stream. This event was open to players in the class of 2023. It also served as an identifier to select, invite events like the Future Games and Preseason All-State. Of the 60 participants in attendance, several had stand out performances. 

Now, as we wrap up our post-event coverage, we’ll roll out our player analysis from the day, starting with the position players and wrapping up with the pitchers later on. 

Leading this crop of prospects is ATH Jaden Correa, who represented Team Illinois at this year’s PBR Future Games and recently committed to Nebraska. He’s a high level athlete with versatile actions that play around the field, flashing upside on offense, too. 

Joining us on this day from the Hoosier State was MIF Josh Adamczewski, performing as one of the day’s standouts, like Correa. Adamczewski also participated in this year’s Future Games, using this performance and an extremely impressive showing at The Rock later on in the summer to earn a spot on Team Indiana.
