6.13.13 - One of the fastest-rising prospects in Illinois’ 2014 class. Extremely projectable 6-foot-6, 185-pound frame with long arms and legs and plenty of room to fill out. Arm works fast and clean, high-3/4 slot, short on the backside. Works downhill, hides ball well, ball jumps out of hand. Fastball sat at 87 mph with sink down in the zone. Splitter shows swing-and-and capabilities, with late downer action at 80-82 mph. Curveball (73-76) is inconsistent, but flashed some promise. Also throws an 81-83 mph changeup.

5/20/13 - No. 51 prospect in Illinois’ class of 2014. 6-foot-6, 185-pound right handed pitcher, lean build, long limbs, shows projection. Delivery shows rhythm, up tempo. Arm action is loose, showed repeatability. Fastball was mostly straight, 84-86 mph, touched 87 mph, showed improved command. Curveball has short action, lacks depth, 70-71 mph, late break, showed control. Fedro is a projectable 2014 graduate who shows arm speed with little strength to his frame. As Fedro matures his fastball should only see improved velocities.

2/17/13 - Long lanky frame, slender build, 6-foot-6, 185-pounds, can carry added strength. Delivery is up tempo, wide setup from the windup, quick rocker step to balance point, regular effort. Arm works from a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball has slight run, thrown for strikes, 83-86 mph. Curveball showed minimal action, lacks control, needs refinement. Changeup has arm side run, 78-82 mph, thrown for strikes, has upside, best off speed pitch.
