Kameron Yearsley, OF, Yorkville (IL), 2024 Is a 5-foot-9, 211 pound left/left outfielder with advanced feel to hit from the left-side. Yearsley has shown the ability to consistently make impactful contact in front of our staff across our looks. At the plate, Yearsley starts with a wide base with a no stride with quiet and strong hands taking a tight turn and direct path to the baseball with feel to elevate. Yearsley consistently impacts the baseball with some authority through the middle of the field, finding the barrel often and driving the baseball to the big part of the field. Defensively, at a corner outfield spot Yearsley is a reliable defender with some arm strength up to 89 mph.

Yearsley put together a strong senior year for Yorkville, showing some of the best home run power in the state. He seemingly was a threat to leave the yard at any time, ending the season with 13 home runs and 54 RBI's. Yearsley slashed .462/.547/.962 in 104 plate appearances with nine doubles, two triples, scored 34 runs and walked 19 times to 12 strikeouts. The John A. Logan JC commit will be a name to follow at the next level and beyond.

Setting up in an athletic stance, loads quietly into the back leg to generate power with a long stride towards the mound. The swing is quick and with intent, looking to go middle/pull with power. Yearsley’s first at-bat wasted no time, jumping on a first-pitch fastball to record an RBI single to center field. In his second at-bat, Yearsley displayed his plate discipline, drawing a walk while also fouling off tough pitches. Over at first, he has proper footwork around the bag.

Uncommitted. 5-foot-9, 187-pound left handed hitting outfielder with an athletic, well-proportioned frame. Got the start in center field and hit third in the order. Balanced, athletic look in the box, minimal pre-pitch movement, looks to use the whole field. Pulled a sharp RBI single to right-field in his first at-bat. Sat back and shot the ball through the 6-hole in his second at-bat. Followed up in his third at-bat with a line-drive single to left-center field. Also, hopped on the mound in the seventh inning where he gave up one hit, one walk and struck out one. Fastball played with straight movement and sat 82-83 mph. Main off-speed was a 1/7 curveball at 70-71 mph. Uncommitted junior to follow moving forward.
