4/26/14 Maryland commit. Ranked No. 102 in state of Illinois.  6-foot-1, 175 pound frame, hardnosed baseball player.  Two errors on the day, one on a spectacular diving play and throw from his knees.  In pre game, showed good hands, slow feet, not much lateral quickness, but above average arm with good carry across the diamond.  Hits from narrow stance with considerable forward stride, had trouble staying back on breaking ball down.  Hands held high with back elbow high.  Doubled sharply to left on first pitch fastball in last at bat.  Below average runner.

6.13.13 - Strong build, 6-foot-1, 175-pound corner infielder. Defensively showed  highly athletic arm action, arm works loosely, high ¾ slot, showed accuracy and carry, 79 mph across the diamond. Showed athletic actions, slight hesitations with hands, exchange showed quick and clean capabilities. Offensively hit from an open stance, smooth load, short stride. Efficient bat path, front foot hitter, solid balance through contact.
