Redshirt freshman. 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, evenly proportioned weight. The right-hander showed the ability to spin the ball at a high level on all his pitches, starting with his fastball that sat 84-86 mph with carry at 2400-2500 RPM. His curveball played at 74-75 mph with sharp 11/5 action (2500-2600 RPM), while his slider showed sharp 10/4 action at 75-77 mph (2200-2500 RPM). His final offering was a straight changeup thrown with fastball arm-speed, 79-80 mph.  

John A. Logan JC commit. 6-foot-2, 185-pound, athletic, well-proportioned frame. Started on the mound and got the win for Breese Central in the nightcap of day one. Polished, even-keeled, steady presence on the mound. Went four innings, allowing two hits, no runs, striking out five and walking two. Repeatable, controlled, tall and fall delivery. Clean, compact arm action from a high ¾ to over-the-top slot. Showed control of an above-average three-pitch mix with high spin metrics. Fastball plays clean out of the hand, mostly straight with occasional tilt and angle. Fastball sat comfortably at 84-86 mph with 2300-2400 rpm. Went to a 72-74 mph curveball often; true 12/6 downer action with depth and feel (2350-2425 rpm). Also showed a straight change at 81 mph. Pitches with a plan, understands how to hold runners and seemed in control throughout. Polished look at the upside right-hander.

Delivery: Smooth tall and fall delivery, rhythm in tempo, easy effort, works efficiently in line, lands square to target, athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Clean, loose arm action, high 3/4 arm slot.
FB: T88, 86-87 mph. Slight arm side run, command in zone. T2529, 2380 average rpm.
CB: 74-76 mph. 11/5 shape, gradual action, thrown arm side. T2398, 2355 average rpm.
CH: 81-83 mph. Sinking action, arm speed similar to fastball. T1869, 1692 average rpm.

Delivery: Repeatable drop-and-drive delivery. Low-effort, landing square to home with extension.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm action. High-¾ release slot.
FB: T85 82-84 mph, straight action for strikes. (avg. 2271 rpm).
SL: 72-75 mph, 10/4 sweep, late depth. (avg. 2078 rpm).
CH: 77-79 mph, sinking action. Thrown firm.

Body: 6-foot-1, 165-pounds. Long-levered, high-waisted, projectable frame.
Delivery: Smooth drop and drive delivery, works on-line and repeats.
Arm Action: RH. Short, quick loose arm action, high 3/4 window.
FB: T82, 79-82 mph. Works mostly straight with occasional sink.
SL: 70-73 mph. Short, late sweeping action.
CH: 74-77 mph. Sinking action.

 Body: 6-foot-1, 165-pounds. Long-levered, high-waisted, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Balanced, slightly open setup, stride gets back to even.  Direct to the ball, level path and occasional hard contact to the pull side.
Power: 78 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. OF - 83 mph. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Long, easy strides at times, plays through the baseball, steady hands and clean release.
Run: 7.42 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Slow and controlled, tall and fall delivery, works with rhythm. Level shoulders, on-line direction, lands square and easy effort throughout.
Arm Action: RH. Clean, loose arm action, works from a high ¾ slot.
FB: T79, sat at 76 mph. Shows run, with slight action, misses are inside.
CB: 65-68 mph. Thrown aggressively, 12/6 shape, depth.
CH: 69-70 mph. Near fastball arm speed, fade and sinking action.
