Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 97 in Illinois’ 2023 class. Strong-bodied left-hander, standing 6-foot-3, 230-pounds. Arm works clean out of the glove into a high ¾ slot. Moves with a fluid tempo down the mound, slight drop/drive lower-half while remaining in-line to the plate, repeats his delivery. His fastball worked comfortably at 83-86 mph with natural running action to the arm-side, missing some barrels after settling in later in the game. Changeup looked to be a promising secondary offering, thrown with control to his arm-side and slight fading action, 77-78 mph. Brown also utilized a sweeping slider at 71-73 mph, playing off 2/8 shape with late action at times.

LHP Luke Brown (Plainfield North, 2023) was arguably the top left-handed arm in attendance on Saturday, and he entered the event with some pedigree behind him too.
