5.24.18 - Currently ranked no. 88 in the Illinois’ 2018 class. 6-foot-1, 175-pound, right-handed hitting center fielder; long, athletic build. Offensively, creates whip at times and flashed better bat speed than we had seen in the past. Open setup, long stride, gets back to even with occasional lunge.  Loose hands, pull approach and finished the day 1-for-3 with a stolen base and run scored. Long, easy strider on the base paths, had multiple sub 4.3’s down the line. Smooth defender in center field, covers ground. Long, loose arm action, throws carry, occasional cutting action.
2.19.17 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound, lean, athletically built, two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, raw arm strength. Delivery work with some rhythm, tucked front side at balance point, works across his body and lands closed with effort throughout. Loose, quick arm action. Fastball sat 83-87 mph. Slider, backed up at times, 73-77 mph. Changeup sat 72-74 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter, relaxed, open setup, pre-pitch load and leg-kick timing trigger. Loose hands, fluid rhythm, long path and an exit velocity of 86 mph off a tee. Defensively, plays through the baseball, fluid feet and clean exchange. Quick arm, throws carried, occasional cut, clocked at 87 mph from the outfield. Also, ran a 6.87 laser-timed 60.

Future Games 2016 - 6-foot, 160-pound, long and lean, two-way prospect showcased his impressive tools on the workout day. Norman ran a 6.85 60, was clocked at 90 mph from the outfield and flashed a loose swing with a gap-to-gap approach. Defensively, moves fluidly in the outfield, easy strider, plays through the baseball and flashed a loose, quick arm action from a high ¾ slot. Offensively, right-handed hitter, lined a run-scoring single to right field in the second game against Team Wisconsin. Also, a right-handed pitcher; threw a scoreless inning on the mound in game two. Velocity was down from what we have seen in the past (up to 87 mph at a previous event). Sat 77-80 mph and touched 83 in his outing.

3.19.16 - 6-foot, 160-pound, projectable two-way prospect. The strong armed right-handed pitcher came out of the bullpen for Morgan Park. Quick, loose, live arm with some effort in his delivery. Pumped almost entirely all fastballs, which worked mainly straight and varied widely in velocity. In his one inning of worked his fastball ranged between 79-84 mph and touched 87 once. Norman did not allow a hit or a run, struck out two but walked three.

1.17.16 - 6-foot, 160-pound, right-handed hitting OF/RHP with an athletic frame. Defensively has a loose, live arm action from an over the top arm slot. Threw 87 mph from the outfield with carry. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions and fluid footwork. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load and short stride. Gap to gap hitter with fluid rhythm and a level path. Loose, athletic swing with some whip. Showed strength thru contact with 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.09. Shows off raw arm strength on the mound. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a loose, quick arm action. Max effort with an uptempo delivery. Square landing with an athletic finish. Fastball sat 84-86 mph. Changeup sat 70-72 mph.
10.25.15 - Lean, projectable frame 6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and pitcher. Impressive set of tools. Ran a 7.18 laser-timed 60, was 89 mph from the outfield, registered an exit velocity of 84 mph and was up to 84 mph with his fastball off the mound. Offensively, has a good feel for hitting. Creates easy bat speed with loose and whippy hands. Short path to the baseball and gets extension through contact at times. Balanced, open setup, smooth pre-pitch load and short toe-tap stride. Fluid rhythm, above-average balance and a quick bat. Defensively, athletic actions and attacks the baseball in the outfield. Quick, loose, long and athletic arm action. Throws had life and carry at times. On the mound, lightning quick arm from a high ¾ window. With his frame and arm action it would be easy to see his velocity climb in the near future. Drop and drive delivery with a lot of effort. Good command of his fastball and changeup. Fastball thrown for strikes, flashed life and sat 82-84 mph. Changeup, feel, thrown with fastball arm speed, ranged between 69-74 mph. Needs to sharpen up his curveball that worked 11/5 and sat 55-59 mph. Could benefit from learning a slider. Overall, athletic prospect that should be a high follow in the 2018 class.
7/15/15 - 5-foot-8, 128-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder with an athletic frame. Showed off a strong, accurate arm from centerfield. 4.65 runner down the line.

10.26.14 - 5-foot-9, 130-pound two-way player, lanky frame, long legs, frame should be able to carry plenty of additional strength. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short stride, smooth loading action. Loose hands, athletic hitter, 70 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively plays the outfield with a long over the top arm action, 76 mph. Plays through the baseball, clean exchange, footwork played. 7.57 runner in the 60. On the mound, uses a drop and drive delivery, arm action is long, high ¾ slot. Fastball is mostly straight, flashed slight cut action, 73-75 mph, touched 77 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, gradual action, ranged 52-57 mph, showed feel for the zone. Changeup has slight fade, 66-67 mph.
