A 5-foot-7, 149-pound frame, showed well in his start against Outlaws Thursday morning. The left-handed pitcher tossed four innings allowing three runs on four hits, two walks, and three strikeouts. His fastball was sitting 76-79 mph while the curveball was sitting 65-69 mph. Niedzwiecki relied heavily on the fastball, which was a firm one that tended to sink. The curveball had a late break and was used late in counts. A fluid drop and drive motion, that if followed by clean arm action, Niedzwiecki was able to attack early with a command for both pitches.
