6.13.13 - Physical and durable 6-foot-3, 215-pound left-hander. High-3/4 slot, clean, loose arm action, works slightly across body, maintains solid rhythm and tempo throughout. Fastball topped at 87 mph, sitting 84-86 with four-seamer, 83-mph two-seamer with heavy feel. Curveball has sweeping action in 71-75 range. Changeup lacks consistency, but flashed some sink in the 75-76 range.

4/24/13 Stong build, 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, developed lower half. Arm action is long, high ¾ slot. Delivery lacks separation, one piece rotation after foot strike. Fastball sat at 79-81 mph for most of the game, touched 83 mph early in the game, shows cut action on fastball, was able to get under the hands of right handed hitters. Slider has two-plane action, 71-73 mph, effective to his glove side of the plate. Changeup had slight fade, 74-75 mph. Fordon is a strong bodied left-handed pitcher who shows a naturally cutting fastball complimented by a two-plane slider. No. 35 in Class of 2014.

2/17/13 - Athletic frame, shows strength in lower half, 6-foot-3, 215-pound left handed pitcher. Tall and fall style delivery, shows some rhythm, regular effort, athletic finish. Arm works from a high ¾ arm slot, loose arm action. Fastball displays slight run and sink to arm side, thrown for strikes, 83-84 mph. Curveball showed average action, 74-76 mph. Change up has fading action, some feel, 74-76 mph.
7.25.12 Fordon is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound left-handed pitcher who impressed on the mound with his command of three pitches.  He throws from an over the top arm angle and showed some arm quickness.  Fordon has a projectable frame and showed life on his 83 mph fastball.  Fordon showcased a tight slider with two-plane life.  He also throws a 71-74 mph changeup that he kept down in the zone.  Offensively, the left-handed hitting Fordon exhibited a short, compact swing.  Fordon starts from a balanced setup and uses his line drive swing to square up balls to all fields.
