5/21/26
Ranked No. 10 in the state's sophomore class. Stands in a 5-foot-8, 144-pound athletic frame. Started at shortstop and batted second. Finished the day 1-for-3 with one run scored. A fluid left-handed swing with quick hands and a flat path through the zone. Defensively continues to stand out, showing confident hands with quick feet and range to both sides. In-game, made a tough backhand play and showed a quick transfer and strong throw on the run, nearly getting the runner out with the throw slightly off line. Rennette continues to be a high-follow prospect in the sophomore class.
4/22/26

Ranked No. 10 in the state's sophomore class. Stands in a 5-foot-8, 144-pound athletic frame with more strength to come. Started at shortstop and batted second. Didn't record a hit on the day but showed multiple barrels to both the pull side and opposite field throughout his at-bats. A left-handed hitter, Rennette works with a fluid and easy swing, direct hands and a flatter path through the zone. Defensively, showed confident actions with sure hands, moves around the field with ease and showed a strong arm across the diamond in-game. A high-level name to follow in the state's sophomore class.

3/20/26

Ranked No. 10 in the state's freshman class. Stands in an athletic 5-foot-8, 144-pound frame with plenty of physical development still to come. Batted second and started at shortstop, finishing the day 2-for-4. A left-handed hitter, showed a smooth, loose and fluid swing that works direct to the baseball with some bat speed through the zone. Defensively, showed clean footwork and confident hands, moved with range to both sides with a clean transfer and a quality arm across the diamond. Multi-sport athlete, plays point guard on the hardwood. Will be a must-know uncommitted name heading into August 1st.

7/24/25

Athletic 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame with room to add strength. Rennette had quite the weekend at the plate and on the mound. At the plate, Rennette constantly found a way on base. The left-hander hitter has advanced bat-to-ball abilities from a compact swing that is direct to the ball. A top-of-the-order type bat that can set up the heart of the order. On the mound, Rennette struck out ten batters through seven innings across two appearances. The right-hander operates from a simple, controlled delivery with a high leg lift and a tall/fall approach. Long, loose, easy arm action from a ¾ slot. His fastball sat 80-83 with arm-side run. He mixed in a sharp curveball that sat in the mid to upper 60s.

6/26/24

Ryder Rennette (Dunlap, 2028) showed quality actions all weekend with an athletic frame that played well on both sides of the ball. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has an athletic setup and looks to drive the ball from gap to gap, with a patient approach. Defensively, the shortstop showed smooth and rangy actions. On the mound, Rennette showcased repeatability with his delivery and produced whiffs all game with his three pitch mix. He worked quickly on the bump, keeping hitters off balance and producing weak contact. His fastball ranged from 78-81 mph and was consistently placed all around the zone. His curveball had 11/5 movement and sat 65-68 mph, while his changeup was 71-73 mph and gave left-handed hitters a hard time. The two-way rising freshman should be an athlete to keep an eye on.
