Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 6 in the state and No. 242 nationally. High-waisted 6-foot-1, 196-pound frame with some present strength throughout. Got the start for Marist against the No. 1 team in the state. Lawlor is a high-follow name in the sophomore class, featuring an athletic delivery with a loose, full arm action from a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 84-86 mph with deceptive two-seam action and ride, earning swing-and-miss at times in the zone. His slider at 78-80 mph flashed out-pitch potential and was a pitch he could throw to both left-handed and right-handed hitters. As much as the stuff, his mound presence stood out; he showed a low pulse and competed in the zone throughout, demonstrating advanced maturity facing a top-ranked opponent. A high-follow southpaw in the region.
6-foot, 200-pound frame with a durable build, broad shoulders with proportionate strength. The southpaw impressed with a jump in velocity, up nearly seven mph and now topping at 91 mph, sitting 88-90 mph in this look with sinker traits and heavy arm-side run. The slider showed some bullet shape at 74-76 mph, and the changeup showed mostly straight action at 80-82 mph, killing spin in the process.
