4.26.18 - Illinois Central JC commit. 5-foot-11, 180-pound, right-handed pitcher, thick lower half. Started on the mound for Morton. Slight plunge out of the glove, comes out of a high ¾ slot, quick arm out front. Delivery works with effort at times and can get rotational. Fastball, around the zone, mostly straight, occasional arm-side-run, sat 86-87 mph, touched 88 early on; settled in anywhere from 84-87. Went to his breaking ball early and often. Throws it with conviction, good feel, short, late break, 10/4 shape, 75-77 mph. Got the win going 6.1 innings, five hits, one earned run, struck out four and no walks.

8.9.17 - Recent Illinois Central JC commit. 5-foot-11, 180-pound, right-handed hitting two-way prospect. Offensively, tall, open setup, leg-kick timing trigger, maintains good balance, loose hands. Gap-to-gap approach, long barrel path through the zone, fluid rhythm, easy effort, 92 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.40 60. Defensively, short, loose arm action, quick arm speed, high ¾ slot, accurate throws with carry, 87 mph from the outfield. Plays through the ball, soft hands, fluid footwork, clean on exchanges. On the mound, short, quick arm action, over-the-top slot, stays tall in his delivery. Smooth, uptempo rhythm, works on-line, lands closed. Fastball, mostly straight, commanded, 84-85 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 71-72. Changeup, fastball arm speed, arm side run, down in the zone, 76-78. 

10.16.16 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound, right-handed hitting multi-positional prospect. Offensively, bat speed, fluid rhythm, uses the middle of the field and some looseness throughout; 88 mph exit velocity from a tee. Balanced setup, quick leg-kick timing trigger and path works uphill at times. Defensively, worked out in the outfield and infield. Ability to play both positions. Hands work soft, fluid footwork with body control and flashes actions. Short, over-the-top arm action clocked at 82 mph across the infield and 84 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.39 laser-timed 60. Also, a right-handed pitcher. Tall and fall delivery works with rhythm, stays on-line, lands closed and finishes athletically. Short, quick, loose arm from a high ¾ slot and regular effort throughout. Fastball, tilt, straight and sat 80-82 mph. Curveball, feel, sharp, late action action, 12/6 shape with depth and clocked at 69-70 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, fade action and sat 73-75 mph.

6.8.16 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound two-way player, average athletic frame. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action, leg kick trigger. Aggressive swing, attacks the baseball, showed bat speed with hard pull side contact. 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.36 runner in the 60. Showed positive defensive actions on the infield, hands played with the ability to cushion the baseball, athletic defender, plays fluidly for his age. Arm action is loose and quick, some effort, high ¾ slot, flashed carry, 83 mph across the diamond. On the mound arm worked similarly, regular effort, direction and closed toe landing. Fastball sat 80-82 mph, touched 83 mph. Curveball had well above average 12/6 action for his age, 63-66 mph. Knuckleball had occasional flutter, 64-68 mph.

1.17.16 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound two-way player. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride. Flashed some strength with the bat for his age, flatter path, 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively plays the ball deep, arm action is short, over the top slot, showed some accuracy, 76 mph across the diamond. 7.55 runner in the 60. On the mound arm action is clean, over the top slot. Fastball flashed slight cut action, 78-79 mph. Curveball flashed good shape, 62-66 mph. Showed a knuckleball at 63-65 mph with control.
