5/21/15 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound, left-handed hitting right-handed pitcher. Currently ranked No. 125 in the Illinois Class of 2015. Parkland JC commit. In the past we have seen him primarily in the middle infield, got the start for Boylan. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with short, quick arm action.  Compact delivery with good balance. Fastball sat 82-84 mph. Deceptive changeup at 74-75 mph, maintaining fastball arm speed. Curveball showed 11-5 shape at 65-66 mph.  Exited in the third inning with an injury. At the plate hits from a balanced stance with a smooth left-handed swing. Good athlete.

6/19/14 - 5-foot-10, 160-pound left handed hitting shortstop. Offensively hits from an open stance, tall setup, bat wrap load, short stride, good balance. Above average bat speed, loose hands, smooth swing, slightly uphill path. Defensively showed athletic actions, softer hands, plays through the baseball. Arm action is loose, high ¾ slot, showed accuracy and some carry, 78 mph across the diamond. 7.38 runner in the 60.

8/7/13 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound left handed hitting middle infielder. Hits from a balanced stance, smooth load, slight bat wrap, abbreviated leg kick stride. Well above average bat speed, 82 mph exit velocity, barrel whip through the zone, excellent balance through finish. Short path with a gap to gap approach. Defensively showed an athletic arm action with body control. Soft hands, above average back hand abilities, clean exchange. Arm action is loose, high ¾ arm slot with accuracy and carry, 82 mph across the diamond. Troia is one of the top left handed hitting middle infielders in Illinois 2015 class.

1/20/13 - Athletic build, 5-foot-10, 155-pound left handed hitting middle infielder. Defensively showed some actions, exchange and release are long, foot work lacks quickness, average arm strength (72 mph), lacks carry and accuracy. Offensively, hits from balanced setup, slightly open stance, smooth load, short stride, line drive hitter, creates whip and occasional lift. Gets excellent extension after contact with barrel whip through the zone.
