5/28/25
Kaskaskia commit. Currently ranked No. 140 in the 2025 rankings. Stands in at 6-foot, 165-pound frame. Started on the mound for the Kahoks. An athletic mover down the mound, Harrington throws out of a ¾ slot with a loose arm. Mostly worked with a FB/SL combo while also flashing a change-up. Fastball lived around the zone but Belleville East was putting some quality swings on the ball. Harrington got himself out of jams a couple times early in the game before being relieved in the fifth. The stat line may not have been the prettiest, but it’s clear there is a lot to work with in Harrington and he could develop into a strong collegiate arm.
5/08/25

Kaskaskia JC commit, currently ranked No. 140 in the state. Lean 6-foot, 165-pound frame with plenty of room for added strength. Harrington took the bump and batted leadoff for Collinsville, showing quality actions on both sides of the ball. He operated out of the stretch, working athletically down the mound with a loose ¾ arm action. The right-hander dominated in his six innings of work, only allowing one hit and two unearned runs. Final Line: 6.0 IP, 1 H. 2 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 10 K. His fastball was placed around the zone and sat 84-87 mph, settling into 83-85 mph in the sixth inning. He also possessed a sharp slider at 72-74 mph and a deceptive fading changeup at 76-77 mph. On the other side of the ball, Harrington tried to help his own cause by pulling a double down the left field line to open the sixth inning. An overall impressive performance from the senior, who looks like an arm to follow for the future.

3/28/25

RHP Carter Harrington, Collinsville, 2025 Kaskaskia JC commit. Ranked No. 147 in Illinois’ senior class. 6-foot, 165-pound frame, athletic and lean with room for more still to come. Tossed three innings on the mound, struck out three, walked two and allowed four hits. Stretch-only delivery, athletic mover down the mound with a loose arm path. Fastball sat 83-86 mph in this look with some arm-side action. Mixed in a 70-74 mph curveball that he threw for strikes with confidence.

2/17/24

Saturday was our first in-event look INF Carter Harrington (Collinsville, 2025), who has impressed our staff previously, whether it be with the Kahoks or on our summer circuit. Athletic with upside at 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, Harrington swings a loose, easy, and rhythmic right-handed barrel with line drive feel and balance through contact. 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. Athletic build with plenty of room to grow. Harrington picked up the game sealing two-run home run Saturday afternoon. Harrington was on the barrel all weekend due to his quick hands and bat speed. Harrington displayed an advanced feel for the zone and the ability to show off his bat-to-ball skills. 7/13/23

Harrington hosts a projectable frame at 6-foot-1, 165-pounds with plenty of room for physical maturity. He showed well on Thursday, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBIs, a walk and a stolen base.
