Uncommitted, ranked No. 76 in the state. 6-foot-4, 192-pound frame, lean with a high waist, plenty more room to add strength throughout. Started on the mound and threw it better than the line would suggest against a strong Mount Carmel lineup, going five innings with four earned runs, three walks and three strikeouts. The left-hander uses his levers well to get down the mound, working in-line with a slight drop/drive lower-half. Full arm action that is loose and uninterrupted, ¾ release, some deception to it. Fastball jumps and plays up, 86-89 mph, held 86-87 mph through six, natural run. Curveball played with some sweeping and slurve action, 74-75 mph, could land it for strikes. Changeup showed natural fade in the 75-76 mph range. High ceiling southpaw that schools should be on this summer.

LHP Grayson Waters (Oak Park-River Forest, 2027) a wiry, 6-foot-3, 155-pound build, Waters impressed our staff on the mound with his controlled and easy delivery.
