5-foot-11, 180-pound frame with some looseness throughout, was dominant in his start on Friday night as he struck out 10 batters over four innings of work. Klunke (Normal Community, 2025) presented a whippy arm with a fluid delivery, clear composure on the bump. The right-handed arm ran his fastball up to 85 mph while it sat 80-83 mph. Klunke also featured a put-away slurve with some slider-like actions but a tight curveball shape. The wipeout pitch sat at 74-76 mph and generated swings-and-misses that Klunke used to record outs.

RHP Luke Klunke (Normal Community, 2025) made his Prep Baseball event debut last Wednesday and impressed. An athletic 5-foot-11, 180-pound build, Klunke displayed a low-80s fastball that was up to 85.1 mph with a max of 17” of horizontal movement. He mixed in a mid-70s slider with short, horizontal break, as well as a mid-70s changeup that had arm-side fade at times, but was mostly straight.
