Seibert’s start on Monday morning may have been the weekend’s biggest takeaway, as the 6-foot-8, 235-pound specimen truly dominated for the Royals Scout Team. Seibert repeated his delivery and controlled his body downhill exceptionally well for his stature, holding 88-93 mph throughout with a 94 mph max. He spun a sharp, power breaking ball in the low-80s as his outing went on and occasionally sank a lower-80s changeup as well. Seibert struck out nine batters over six innings on 69 pitches, failing to allow an earned run and allowing only one hit. Expect Seibert to rise nationally next time the rankings are updated as he’s one of the top uncommitted prospects in the Midwest’s 2024 class.
