Used a long arm action and an-over-the-top slot. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.96.
Light is a 6-foot 145-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 6.95 60 and a 4.44 home to first. He had a 75 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall set up, loads with weight shift against back side, slightly open with stride, middle of the field line drives, slightly high finish. 2/16/18 - Light is a 5-foot-11 135-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 4.33 home to first and has a 73 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, early stride with separating hands, loose and quick hands, body stays under control, feel for the barrel, consistently squared up the ball, mostly middle to oppo contact. In the outfield, 74 mp positional velocity, short over the top release, works behind the ball and creates momentum after the catch, clean glove to hand exchange, lean frame with plenty of room to develop strength to athletic movements.
