C Jackson Whiddon (De Soto, 2026) is a physical 6-foot, 195-pound athlete that showed upside on both sides of the ball in this event. Whiddon was impressive from behind the plate thanks to a clean transfer where he led all catchers in pop time (1.91-2.04) while being accurate and on the bag with all his throws. At the plate, Whiddon barreled the furthest ball from Sunday’s event at 372 feet with a 94.5 max exit velocity, showing a compact powerful stroke that worked to elevate balls to the pull side of the field.
