Mason Pangborn: SS/2B, (2024) Blue Valley Southwest, KS. 5-foot-10, 140-pound slim frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 74 mph. Starts in a tall balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick to initiate his swing. Bat speed was average, used upward swing plane and high finish. Barreled up some balls during the round. Pull side approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 74 mph; has sure hands, developing feet and a lengthy exchange. Used a ¾ slot and a quick arm action while showing some accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 8.0 in the 60-yard dash.
