Burdette is a stocky 5-foot-9 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and infielder in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 7.48 60 and a 4.03 home to first.  He has an 85 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts with open stance, rocks to back side to load, controlled, minimal hand movement, level path through hitting zone, one handed finish, mostly pull side line drives.  In the outfield, over the top arm slot, crow hop after clean transfer, has momentum to throw, mostly accurate throws, with carry, 77 mph positional velocity. On the infield, 75 mph positional velocity, quick catch and throw, controlled footwork to ball, clean transfer, footwork works through the ball, mostly accurate throws.

Burdette is a 5-foot-9 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 7.41 60 and a 4.76 home to first.  He had an 88 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, some hand load with weight shift, quick hands, level path, works over front side at times, middle to pull line drives.  Behind the plate, 2.03 to 2.15 pop times, 71 mph positional velocity, high three quarters release, quick catch and throw, clean exchange, throws with momentum, mostly accurate throws.

6/5/18 - Burdette is a strong 5-foot-19 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 745 60 and a 4.81 home to first and has an 85 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced stance, in line stride with minimal load, attacks ball, level swing path, gap to gap approach, flashed pull side power.  In the outfield, 82 mph positional velocity, loose high three quarters arm slot, clean exchange, feet create momentum after the catch, throws have occasional accuracy and carry.
