6/27/17 - Carmona is an athletic and slender framed left-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2018 class. He ran a 7.11 laser timed 60 and 4.32 home-to-first. He showed an exit velocity of 82 mph. Carmona displayed a simple swing that was quick to the baseball, barrel was flat through the zone, quiet hands while spraying line drives to all fields during batting practice. During the game Carmona showed a disciplined approach with a good eye for the strike zone. Defensively, behind the plate, his pop times were between 2.07-2.24 seconds, a positional velo of 72 mph, good actions, loads up with his arm while working forward towards the target. While in the outfield Carmona showed quality footwork, smooth actions, works behind the ball and showed a positional velo of 79 mph and accurate throws.

5/31/16 - Carmona is a 5-foot-6 140-pound left-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.03 60 and a 4.21 home-to-first, one of the top for the day.  He has an 82 mph exit velo. At the plate, smooth load to back side, hands work to inside of baseball, opposite field line drives, level path to extension, loose whip in bath path.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.24 and 2.25, over the top arm slot, clean exchange, quick release, accurate throws to the bag, 71 mph positional velo.
6/1/15 - Reese is a 5'6 125-pound left hand hitting catcher and outfielder from Lawrence. Loose and free in the outfield with good footwork to the ball with a top positional velo of 72 mph. Receives the ball well behind the plate, and made mostly accurate throws to the bag.Having pop times from 2.01 to 2.29 and a catcher positional velo of 72 mph. A simple swing without to many moving parts,has weight transfer back for his load and lets it fly. Bat is flat through the zone and stayed up the middle in BP with a exit velo of 75 mph.
