OF Evan Abbott (Staley, 2025) flashed impressive tools on both sides of the ball in Tuesday’s look. To kick off the day, the 6-foot-2, 191-pound Abbott showed off his athleticism, posting the top 60 yard dash time of the day with a 6.53 mark to go along with a 31.6 inch vertical - top 5 in the event. At the plate the senior swung a powerful left-handed barrel, sending his best ball 378 feet at 99 mph. That strength at the plate transferred over to the field where Abbott fired a 82 mph bullet from the outfield.
