One of the premier left-handed pitchers in the state, Jake Collier (Pacific, 2025; Missouri State signee) continues to impress our staff each time we see him. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound southpaw boasts present strength with room to add more, and he once again showed high-impact potential during a recent bullpen session. Collier showcased command of a true four-pitch mix, headlined by a lively fastball that sits 88-90 mph with occasional arm-side run. He pairs that with two distinct breaking balls—a sharp 75-78 mph curveball and a tighter 74-79 mph slider—both showing swing-and-miss potential. Rounding out his arsenal is an 80-82 mph changeup that he consistently located at the bottom of the zone for strikes, demonstrating advanced feel and polish for his age.

LHP Jake Collier (Pacific, 2025) is another riser in this class, sitting at 37th overall on our updated state board. At 5-foot-10, 150-pounds with a loose, clean arm, Collier’s previously pitched in the low-80s to our staff, peaking at 83 mph, and there’s plenty more to come down the road, too. Seemingly just scratching the surface of his future self, Collier’s certainly one to follow throughout his high school career.
