We got yet another impressive look at INF Lucas Wietholder (Father Tolton Catholic, 2025) at this event. Wietholder’s physical upside is evident, and there’s plenty of projection left to come attached to a 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame. He continued to elevate pull-side contact in BP, staying in the zone from the right side and providing a glimpse of a potential middle-of-the-order bat at the next level. Wietholder’s sure-handed actions defensively are clear and he should stick on the left side of the infield moving forward. He’s a high ceiling prospect in Missouri’s sophomore class 

Highly projectable 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame with long, lanky limbs. Started at shortstop and hit out of the cleanup spot for Warriors Baseball Club throughout the weekend. Longer uphill path to contact with pull-side intent, creates leverage out front and should hit for power as his frame fills out. Covers ground defensively at shortstop, ranges well to the backhand. A top-25 prospect in Missouri’s 2025 class that played a pivotal role on Father Tolton Catholic’s state championship squad.

Body: 6-2, 165-pounds.
Hit: Open, narrow stance. Slight bend at the knees. Long, athletic stride back to even. Compact, athletic swing. Short, level path to the baseball. Bat speed. Fluid rhythm. Maintains  balance through contact. Pull side power with the ability to go the other way.
Power: 87.5 max exit velocity, averaged 84 mph. 
Arm: INF - 80 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Agile and athletic. Quick feet. Natural actions on the infield. Good feel.
