Another name that really impressed on Sunday was C/INF Kendall Hagedorn (Smith-Cotton, 2026). Despite being one of the youngest prospects in attendance, Hagedorn repeatedly got off some of the day’s hardest hacks, staying exclusively up the middle throughout. He swings a quick and loose right-handed barrel, generating acceleration out of his load relatively easily. Hagedorn certainly emerged from this event as a name-to-know in Missouri’s 2026 class.

Positional Profile: C/SS Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Strong, athletic build. Hits: RHH. Balanced slightly open setup, hands start at shoulder set and work back, quiet load, short stride, hits onto a firm lead leg. Strong hands with bat speed (73.7 mph avg.), level bat path, bat head stays in the zone, hard off the barrel. Produced above-average exit velocities both at peak and average for age. Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 83.7 MPH. 323' max distance. Arm: RH. C-70 mph. Short arm draw, 3/4 slot. Defense: 2.10-2.15 pop times. Quiet wrists, hands work down-to-up when receiving. Square blocker, hips interchange on time, chests up the baseball. Narrow start from the crouch, stays low to the ground and pulls away from target on occasion.
