Physical: The recent Siena commit stands a projectable, athletic 6-foot-3, 180lbs with durability on the bump.

Pitching: RHP - Quicker pace in the delivery getting to a balanced, hip coiled stack that held direction and separation down the slope. Found a repeatable land position in-line to the plate with an adjustable lead-leg that blocked off properly. Released from a downhill, H ¾ slot, running the FB heavy in on RHH hands from 84-86 mph (2077rpms via Trackman). Mixed a good 76-78 mph SL with elite command (71% zone rate) thrown in any count, then added a commanded 75-78 mph CH that created deception off the FB tunnel at 1918rpms (100% zone rate, feel). Kept hitters in between speeds with a knowledge of how to pitch and get outs.

Physical: Long and lean 6-foot-3, 170-pound frame with plenty of athleticism and projectability throughout the build.

Pitching: RHP - Side rocker step with a quick pace in the delivery with high level hip-shoulder separation at the land with impressive lower half drive, the arm worked through a full circle out of a long, high ¾ slot with extension on the front side as well. The FB entered the zone with extra life at 81-84 mph showing a max of 2191 spin per Trackman Baseball, countered with a tight 73-75 mph CB with deception out of the same FB window; got an upwards of 2135 RPM’s with 11/5 shape and late downward plane.

9/22/19

The 2022 RHP had an impressive outing at the 2019 Fall Top Prospect Games. Chris worked with feel for a three pitch mix. Plus FB command which peaked at 79 MPH. SL has improved with sharp late action and ranged from 71-74 MPH. McKeon continues to improve every workout. Works off a high knee lift and works downhill with intent. The 2022 RHP is projectable and is a must follow.

6/25/19

A projectable lean 6-foot-2,165 pounds. Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable delivery. Has a projectable live arm. Works with tempo. Keeps his hands close to the body. Has smooth early hand separation. Drives downhill with no wasted movement. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Shows plus command of a FB that peaked at 82 MPH . Shows an above average SL ranging from 70-73 MPH. The 2022 graduate is a must follow as he continues to develop.
