Physical: Ultra-projectable, athletic 6-foot-2, 175lb frame with room to fill out.

Pitching: RHP - Starts off the middle/left side of the rubber using a drop step into a coiled stack above the waist. Rotates downward into footstrike, creating a deceptive FB/CB look at release (H ¾). The FB pounded the zone with some sink to it at 88-89 mph and countered with a wipeout, two-plane 74-76 mph CB that has shown swing/miss in-game. Spun a hard 78-80 mph SL up to 2530rpms and even dabbled with an 80-82 mph CUT that flashed aptitude here and there. An 81-83 mph CH gives him a 5th pitch that fades, but needs to find the zone with more consistency.

Physical: Uber-projectable, lean 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame with plenty of athleticism throughout. Yale commit.

Pitching: RHP - Starts from the middle-left side of the rubber with a side rocker step, above average pace to the delivery, medium-high leg lift with hip coil at the top of the stack, good leg drive with advanced extension on the land while getting directional towards the plate, high ¾ slot with a full arm circle. Pounded the zone with an 85-87 mph FB showing almost 2400 rpms of spin per Trackman Baseball … seems to be more in the tank while mixing in a sharp 74-76 mph CB with 2398 rpms that got more than a few ugly swings in the box. Countered with a late breaking 83-85 mph CUT FB that got in on LHH and ran off the plate against righties (advanced feel). Dropped in an 81-82 mph CH on occasion with slight arm-side fade.

Cohen is a wiry, 6-foot, 165 pound right-handed pitching prospect, with a live arm. The delivery is simple, fluid and in line with home plate. The arm works out of a long ¾ slot, that produces some late life on a fastball that sits 85-87 MPH. He also features a tight slider, sitting 76-79 MPH and a change-up at 78-79 MPH with late downward sink.

Cohen is a guy that’s not going to be available for much longer. The arm has life and there’s projectability with the frame.
