A projectable physical frame at 6-feet-0 tall, 180 pounds. Ran a 7.43 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box. Tall stance. Feet shoulder width apart. Starts with his hands low. Loose hands before entering the hitting zone. Quick direct path to the baseball. Good use of lower half. Stays balanced throughout his swing. Ball jumps off the bat. Top exit velocity 87 MPH. Defensively- As a 3B, gets himself in a good position before fielding the baseball. Moves well side to side. Low effort throwing action on turns and throws across the diamond. Top throwing velocity was 81 MPH.

A projectable 6-foot-0, 180 pounds. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box in a shoulder width base. Quick hands, quick to the hitting zone, and balanced throughout the swing. Displayed some middle to opposite field line drives during the hitting zone. Above average strength with the bat at 87 MPH exit velocity. Defensively- Displayed smooth infield actions, soft hands, and move well laterally at the hot corner. Throws from a ¾ arm slot with carry on throws across the diamond. Position velocity was 81 MPH. The 2020 graduate as the bat and glove to gain some attention going forward.

5-foot-10, 160-pounds average build with room to grow. Active lower half defensively, clean glove out in front, strong throwing arm from a long arm action, 79 mph. Offensively,  gets the barrel to the ball quickly with short extension after contact. Consistent contact, barrel control. Signs of power potential with 87 mph exit velo. 

Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)

Tirabassi is a 5-foot-10 160-pound right handed third baseman and pitcher. He ran a 7.35 60. Offensively- Starts shoulder width apart, hands out from his body with some pre pitch bat movement. Slight bend in the knee. Quiet, short stride for timing. Extends through the ball with a high one handed finish; whippy actions that produced an 85 MPH velocity. Works the middle of the field. Defensively- Athletic fielding position, keeps feet moving as he works through the ball and smooth transfer allow for a quick and accurate throw across the diamond. 73 MPH arm strength with some carry. Pitching- Sets up in the middle of the rubber, steps off to the side, brings hands to chest and knee slightly past belt.  Spots up fastball well at 72-73 MPH, touching 74 MPH. More lower half drive and tempo would see velocity increase. Keeps off-speed low; curveball has 11-5 break at 59-61 MPH. 2020 grad who with a fundamental base that he can grow from.

WNY All-Star Game (September 24, 2017)

Tirabassi has an athletic 5-foot-10, 160-pound body frame. Offensively – Tirabassi starts with a wide base, slightly outside shoulder width apart. He knees has slight bend, hands are in a relaxed position, and his head remains still. Tirabassi uses a small stride, short load, and quick hip rotation to attack the ball out in front. Tirabassi keeps his hands through the hitting zone, has a level bat plane, and has a short compact swing. He finishes balanced with slight upward tilt and hands finish high on his follow through. Tirabassi has an exit velocity off the tee of 77 MPH. Defensively – Tirabassi has active feet into the ball with a smooth and quick transfer into throwing motion. He stays athletic over the ball and shows skillful technique at his position. Improved arm strength a must to stay at 3B over the long term; currently  at 71 MPH across the diamond.

Academic Games (June 3, 2017)

5-foot-9, 140-pound athletic frame, registered home to first time of 4.71. Offensively - Sits deep in a spread stance; quiet feet, quick to the ball, limited pre-pitch movement allows for balance. Exit velocity of 78 MPH (up 1 MPH since February); quick hands allow him to turn on inside pitch; comfortable driving the ball to middle third and already shows gap power. Defensively - Active feet into the ball; creates momentum into his release. Smooth transfer from gloving to throwing motion. Could benefit from taking more direct routes to ball on defensive side. Improved arm strength a must to stay at 3B over the long term. Projects well at the corners as the bat will play.

Preseason All-State (February 20, 2016)

Tirabassi checks in at 5-foot-9, 140 pounds. Had a 60 yard dash time of 7.81 seconds. Offensively- Begins with feet a little wider than shoulders and knees moderately bent with an even stance. Hands begin below back shoulder. Uses a small stride that lands even as hands load backwards. Barrel is on a direct path with strong extension through contact. Swing plane is flat throughout before finishing higher. Has weight transfer forward over front foot before hips become rotational during the swing. Two handed finish above front shoulder. Line drives with lift middle to pull side. Had an exit velocity of 77 MPH off of the tee. Defensively- Approaches the ball with smooth, controlled strides. Fields ball with feet wide and slight bend at the knees. Fields ball with hands tight to his body. Used a double shuffle on throws. Traditional 3/4 arm action on at 70 MPH across the infield; stays through his throws well, 2B/3B mold.
